I doubt the college basketball recruiting process has changed much since the book was published. The most fascinating case is Russell. Frey criticizes the 700 point minimum as an obstacle that must prove insurmountable to students who, while they may work hard in school, have never been properly taught, due to an overcrowded and underfunded public education system.
